My New CD ,"My Sweet Nemesis" is now available at cdbaby.com and is being sent to iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Emusic and other online stores... A couple of years ago, when I turned fifty, I made a few decicsions that are reflected in some of the songs on this CD. I figured that the age of 50 would be a good place in life to let go of old baggage and set a new course. So,I retiered as soon as I could, took a trip to Scotland, bought an old church to fix up as my retierment home/studio and decided to put out one music CD per year for as long as my fingers would allow. ( work on my next CD,"Touch of Heart", has began and should be out June,2007.) 'My Sweet Nemesis' expresses some of the emotional state I feel at my age. Of course some of the songs on this CD come from ideas pulled from thin air. The cover art concept was from a drawing that my Daughter, Courtney, did when she was 11 years old, of a 'guitar shaped cross bow'. It was drawn on the back of a placemat at a restaurant..I liked the contrast of a musical instrument crossed with a weapon....thus, Sweet-Nemesis. In other words, something you want, or love, but is also a danger to you. We all have a personal Nemesis. A key to understanding life is that we often create our own Nemesis by what we do and what we think...
